The Jubilate handbell choir is a group of fun-loving people who enjoy working together to make music. Our members are a variety of different ages as well as musical abilities. We play three to four octaves of bells. Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 5:45-6:45 PM in the sanctuary where you will see us making music and laughing. We perform one Sunday a month – usually the 3rd Sunday. Feel free to stop by and listen to us practice any Monday. If you are interested in joining us, e-mail the director, Kira Sorensen, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Strong Wings Band is our most intergenerational ministry featuring teenagers as well as those far from teenage years who are happily living out the “teenage” fantasy of playing in a rock band. The band plays original music and cover tunes from genres ranging from folk to country, and pop to metal. Strong Wings rehearses at 7 p.m. on Thursday nights and welcomes singers and instrumentalists of all ages and skill levels. Brian Lacock is the Band Director
Open to first through eight graders, the Children’s Choir is a delightful tradition at Forest Grove UCC. Choir practices the first and third Sunday of each month from 11:15 am to 11:49 am.
